Our society urgently needs solidarity dividends: solving problems by leveraging the expertise of diverse groups instead of hoarding knowledge and resources for the benefit of a few. In light of the national crisis of devastating health outcomes for Black women—domestic violence, cancers, heart disease, autoimmune diseases, and maternal mortality—the severity of these issues demands an approach addressing the root causes of these outcomes. That's why Courageous Fire, LLC, has studied the historical roots and impact of racism on Black women's health, categorizing areas needing education into two groups: Centers of Must and Centers of Trust.
