Communities of Color Anti-Violence Summit Is a platform for crime victim advocate and prevention advocates in Iowa to convene and exchange valuable information, resources, and insights. This gathering offers a conducive environment for individuals and organizations to engage in networking opportunities and participate in culturally tailored workshops led by experts entrenched in marginalized communities. Notably, advocates and service providers within mainstream organizations sometimes struggle to highlight the significance of culturally specific support and services. The summit offers a forum for such individuals to address challenges, devise strategies, foster connections, and mutually empower one another.
