This is where we #ChangeTheNarrative by changing the understanding and mindset of nonprofit leadership. Who are they funding? Who are they partnership with? How are they being part of the solution for increasing safe spaces for Black women - whether these are businesswomen or clients who their partners and programs will serve? We give them the historical context of harmful caricatures that influence their perception of Black women. We help them reject the false information, give them factual information on the needs of Black women in crisis, and help them prepare to meet those needs while maintaining a safe space for Black women.
